TierHost is part of the SAVVIS's single platform AS3561 network. By being part of this network, TierHost minimizes the number of router hops and reduces the risk of downtime.

TierHost network has peering connections with 13 Tier 1 US and 5 Tier 1 European backbone providers. The benefits include: faster access, minimum AS hops, and lowest possible packet loss. SAVVIS is a Tier 1 ISP that offers IP connectivity to enable global corporations to quickly reach their desired Internet content. To offer our customers efficient access to destinations that reside outside of the SAVVIS' Global IP Network, peering has been established at select major cities. Our peering relationships with four other Tier 1 ISPs include: AT&T (ANS), Genuity (GTE Interlink), UUNET (WorldCom), and Sprintlink.

In addition, We peer with five pan-European Regional Tier 1 networks including: UUNet (WorldCom), Ebone (GTS), AUCS (AT&T and Infonet), EUNET (KPN/Qwest), and France Telecom, providing our customers access to 90 percent of all European routes.
